The Islamic Burial Services Association (“IBSA”) Section has the following rules and regulations applicable specifically to the IBSA Section.
Rule 1: The IBSA Section is reserved solely and exclusively for members of the Islamic faith.
Rule 2: No non-Islamic religious symbols of any type are permitted in the IBSA Garden. This area is meant to provide a final resting place for members of the Islamic faith exclusively.
Rule 3: The IBSA Section is permitted to have upright memorials. All memorials must meet the IBSA standards and conditions.
Rule 4: No monument or marker may be installed unless and until approved in writing by the administrative office of the
Cemetery and by the IBSA. Each marker must also meet the general rules of each cemetery applicable to markers.
Rule 5: Foundations for such monuments are provided solely and exclusively by the Cemetery and the payment for such foundation must be paid in advance of any installation.
Rule 6: No fencing or bordering of any type is permitted on a grave.
Rule 7: Rules and Regulations of each Cemetery may be downloaded through each Cemetery'’s website.
Rule 8: The IBSA is familiar with all IBSA Rules as well as the general Cemetery Rules and Regulations. IBSA only owns the cemetery plots, and will assist you and act as your liaison with the Cemetery in making any and all arrangements regarding your monument, including procuring the appropriate permits and paperwork and foundation orders.
